Episode 29 - Fab The Duo

Fab The Duo, a Brooklyn (now LA) based alternative-pop duo aiming to smash societal norms through music and love. The glamorous boyfriend duo are quickly becoming rising stars in New York City’s nightlife and indie music scene, performing to big, energetic crowds at iconic venues like The Cutting Room, The Stonewall Inn, and The Bitter End all within their first year. Their music has been featured on notable press like BILLBOARD, ADVOCATE, HUFFPOST, and PRIDE, with the highly acclaimed ALTPRESS calling them a “group that should not be overlooked.”

After a chance encounter at a show, Fab teamed up with GRAMMY award winning producer Juan Cristobal Losada also known as Mr. Sonic. Mr. Sonic was instrumental in creating their epic sound with their debut single “American Icon”. After it’s success, they released their debut EP “Our Love Is Resistance”. The EP was met with high praise for its powerful message of unity as it was released during the tumultuous times of a global pandemic and the George Floyd/Black Lives Matter Protests.

Fab The Duo is more than just music; they are a movement. They hope to change the way that people see queer, interracial love in the music scene. Their music transcends genre, their fashion transcends gender, but their message of acceptance and love is clear. As the duo makes history being the first gay couple to break out in the music industry, they want their fans (or Fabbits) to follow this simple advice: be you, be proud, and most importantly, be loud.
