Episode 3 - CAROLENA

CAROLENA is a singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and performer from Miami, FL. She graduated with a music scholarship from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Popular & Commercial Music while interning with The Recording Academy’s “Grammy U” program.

CAROLENA’s roots and training in Musical Theater have allowed her to set no boundaries when it comes to connecting with an audience and adapting to all types of crowds. Her energy on stage is not only intense, but also has a very humbling and playful aura to it. Her acoustic, stripped down writing brings out a more vulnerable and relatable essence that allows the audience to see beyond her edgy and sultry image. Alongside playing with her band, she also accompanies herself playing the piano, guitar, drums, and ukulele.

She has played at venues such as House of Blues, SoFar Sounds, Art Basel Miami, and The Seminole Hard Rock, to name a few. Her most recent accomplishments are having received two Sync Placements for TV/Film through BMG as well as being featured on NPR’s “All Songs Considered” for her Tiny Desk Contest submission.
