What do John Legend, Lauryn Hill, Cardi B, Jazmine Sullivan and many more of your favorite artists have in common? A powerhouse vocalist named Natalie Imani! Natalie Imani is the featured vocalist on John Legend’s recent album title song “Bigger Love” and on Cardi B’s SNL performance.
Natalie is formally trained in music history and composition and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business and Communications. She combines an appreciation for the art of music with a natural ability to touch your heart when you hear her soulful voice. Natalie was also in the award winning movie, La La Land as a background vocalist for Ryan Gosling and John Legend. She has performed at venues around NYC like Joe’s Pub, Rockwood Music Hall, The Cutting Room, as well as at international festivals and arenas.
While her resume is brimming with experience backing top vocalists and lending her voice to philanthropic efforts, Natalie has recorded and released her own original music. Her message is always centered around love. Natalie’s EP “Hide Your Heart”, was written by the Artist known as “Pink Sweats” and produced by Kenneth Wright. She settles into a sultry vibe on “Cranberry Liquor”, while singing in her soulful, sweet style on her single “Butterflies”. In December 2020, Natalie released a Christmas project “A Hopeful Holiday”, produced by Eugene “Man-Man” Roberts with instrumentation by Adam Blackstone, Ben O’Neil, and many more.
Natalie released her New Single and Music Video, “A Perfect Life” in February. It is destined to be an amazing year for Natalie as she releases her new EP entitled, “Real Love”. As she puts it – “Music is so powerful, and I hope to do my part in spreading a little more love in the world!”
