Born in Chicago, Illinois, Nathan Chester discovered an early passion for music and performance amidst the vibrant cultural rhythms of his hometown. Surrounded by a rich tapestry of music influences, he developed the creative drive that continues to fuel his work today.

In high school, he honed his talents through dedicated participation in musical theater and choir, establishing a versatile foundation for his artistry. Nathan then pursued a degree in musical theater at Waldorf University, where he refined both his vocal prowess and stage presence.

His breakthrough moment arrived during an audition for Season 25 of NBC’s “The Voice”, where his stirring rendition of Al Green’s “Take Me to the River” captivated both the coaches and the audience. As a standout member of Team Legend, he impressed fans with cinematic flair and soulful reinterpretations of classic songs.

Beyond the spotlight, Nathan co-founded EM&N Productions with his partner Emily Viancourt, launching innovative musical ventures like the duo show “Cruise Control” that underscore his commitment to the transformative power of music.
