Episode 97 - Jamai
Jamai is a Singer/Songwriter from Pennsylvania. A self taught pianist, guitarist and producer, He recorded his first album at 15 years old and sold albums overseas. In 2018, Jamai was featured on Season 14 of NBC’s The Voice. During his blind audition, He sung “U Got It Bad” by Usher and landed on Team Alicia.
He has also toured in China and played 75 shows over the course of 3 months. In 2018, Jamai released his self produced single “Honeycombs” that is available on all streaming platforms.
A few albums that inspired his musical career are Purple Rain by Prince and ArtPop by Lady Gaga. Jamai’s goal is to be the biggest performer in the world and his new music will be released in 2022.
