Episode 2 - SheShe Dance

Azusa “SHESHE” Dance is a gospel/blues singer originally from Chattanooga, TN and resides in Harlem. She sings with MUSIC UNDER NEW YORK program in the subway, has a solo show called HOUN’ DAWG: LIFE & TIME OF BIG MAMA THORNTON and sings with a jazz/blues band. SheShe has graced the APOLLO THEATER stage twice and performed on HARLEM SUMMER STAGE. As a musical theatre actress, her accolades include Big Queen (NBT 125^th & FREEDOM), Motormouth Maybelle (HAIRSPRAY), Sofia (THE COLOR PURPLE) and Paulette (LEGALLY BLONDE). A good time to be had by all, bringing joy to others thru music, being the best me and loving who I am, are all SHESHE’s claim to fame.
