Born in Chattanooga, TN, Chris Shupe spent his formative years in a small Georgia town. For over 12 years, Chris had a successful rock band, sharing the stage with renowned acts such as Collective Soul, TESLA, Shinedown, Sevendust, Hinder, and Trapt.
In 2020, Chris decided to leave rock music and embark on a personal journey to rediscover his musical roots as a solo country artist and songwriter. Since then, He has had the privilege of opening for country legends such as Vince Gill, Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Marty Stuart, Don McClean, Ray Stevens, and T. Graham Brown.
Noteworthy milestones in Chris’s career include performances at multiple BMI Music Festivals, opening the 2022 Hall Of Fame Musicians Awards, and establishing a prominent presence on Nashville’s renowned Music Row as a singer-songwriter.
Most recently, Chris was featured on AXS TV’s new music competition show, Banded, where 25 musicians were grouped into 5 bands. He sang lead vocals in the band, Honeysuckle Rose, which has thrust him into the forefront of the music scene, igniting a buzz and drawing significant interest to his undeniable talent.
