Billy Cox is a multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Hobart, Indiana. His musical journey kicked off with classical piano lessons at the age of 8, followed by his father teaching him the guitar at 12. During his time in middle school, Billy found himself performing at various venues, including bars, clubs, and weddings, honing his stage presence.
After graduating high school, he relocated to Chicago, joining a pop punk band. Touring extensively across the Midwest, Billy graced the stages of renowned festivals such as Warped Tour, Summerfest, and SXSW.
In 2021, he made Nashville his new home. Billy gained recognition as a contestant on AXS TV’s, Banded: The Musician Competition. During the show’s finale, He performed “Smokin’ In the Boy’s Room” with Vince Neil, lead singer of Motley Crue.
In addition to his live performances, he has been sharing his musical expertise through lessons, specializing in piano, guitar, and bass, for the past 6 years.
