Episode 116 - Bilaal Avaz

Bilaal Avaz is a Pakistani-American singer, songwriter and producer from North Haven, CT. He started his career as a professional actor at the age of 16 after being signed to Take 3 Talent Agency in New York. Shortly after, He booked his first role on Season 19 of Law & Order: SVU and quickly amassed professional credits including but not limited to several independent films, a leading role in a critically acclaimed Brazilian drama, two Super Bowl commercials, and voiceovers for Spotify and Marvel.
 
In 2018, Bilaal was admitted to NYU Tisch School of the Arts on a full academic scholarship to pursue a BFA in Drama, where he is in his senior year. Despite the lack of resources, guidance and precedent for the arts in his community, Bilaal went on to be featured in ABC’s American Idol placing in the Top 40.
