Episode 127 - Dear Callie

Callie Lee aka Dear Callie is a singer, songwriter born and raised in Atlanta. Her artistry falls into the Pop/Rhythmic genre. Callie’s heritage includes a lineage of natural born singers and under her mother’s watchful eye, the journey of exploring her gift began around the age of 5.
 
Prior to the development of her girl group GIA (“Girls In Atlanta”), Callie began to utilize her abilities for songwriting, singing and performing. At 13 years old, She had a natural ability to create and arrange vocal parts, teach choreography and lead their performance rehearsals. GIA performed throughout the Metro Atlanta area and in the Southeastern and Northern region of the United States. Callie’s hard work landed her in the production of The Wiz as the lead role, Dorothy. GIA was also the opening act for the Face Off Tour with Bow Wow and Omarion.
 
In 2019, Dear Callie was the background vocalist for Toni Braxton’s American Music Awards performance of “Unbreak My Heart” and during Toni’s 2020 Austria performance. She also performed the National Anthem at the Atlanta Hawks game in 2020. Callie wrote two of Keke Palmer’s most recent singles “Dreamcatcher” and “Thick”. Since 2019, She has been a lead vocalist in The After Party Experience Band. Dear Callie was also featured on Season 17 of The Voice.
 
Callie is currently a solo artist, her stage name is Dear Callie, a name that speaks to her love for songwriting. Her creativity for music has the ability to touch her audience both emotionally and passionately. Callie continues to work diligently to establish her dreams and desires to be one of the greatest female entertainers.
