Episode 171 - Carolina Alonso

Carolina Alonso is a Mexican-American singer/songwriter from Reno, Nevada. She grew up around music, with her father singing and playing guitar for various music groups. It was through him that she discovered her passion for music, especially singing.

She joined her high school choir and got her first experiences performing for a real audience other than her family. At 16 years old, Carolina started to perform alongside her dad at a restaurant, in which they performed mostly Spanish music. The combination of Spanish and English music play a huge part of who she has become as an artist.

In 2021, She was featured on Season 21 of NBC’s The Voice on Team Kelly.
