Episode 201 - Steve Diamond

Steve Diamond is a renowned songwriter and music producer with a successful career spanning many years. At the age of 13, he formed his first band and landed a record deal at 17. His talent as a songwriter led to a worldwide hit with Eric Clapton recording his song “I’ve Got A Rock N’ Roll Heart.”

Throughout his career, Steve achieved remarkable success, with multiple #1 hits and Grammy nominations. Songs like “I Can Love You Like That” became chart-toppers for both All 4 One and John Michael Montgomery. Faith Hill’s album “Faith” included his song “Let Me Let Go,” which reached #1 and received a Grammy nomination.

He also collaborated with well-known artists like the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and Reba McEntire, earning an Emmy for the song “Consider Me Gone.” More recently, Orianthi’s “According to You” and Agnes Carlsson’s “On and On” became successful hits in various territories.

Steve continues to write and produce music, working with a diverse range of talented artists such as Joss Stone, Judith Hill, Teasanne Chin, The Tenors, Lauren Alaina, and others.

In 2023, Steve mentored and wrote songs for the new band competition show, Banded, on AXS TV, providing invaluable guidance to his group, Monochromatix.
