Episode 235 - Jamai

JAMAI, formally of Team Alicia Keys, on NBC’s THE VOICE (Season 14) told his story in his riveting and emotional album, TWENTY THREE, released in 2022. This self produced masterpiece consists of 23 songs dedicated to his mother who was tragically murdered at the age of 23 when Jamai was only 6 years old.

Born and raised in Chester, Pennsylvania, Jamai has accomplished numerous milestones in his pursuit of stardom. Known as “The Unhuman Entertainer”, he headlined a 3 month, 75 show tour in Shanghai, China, and received approval from Beyonce, with a video to prove it.

A self-taught singer, guitarist, pianist, and music producer, Jamai is also the owner of J TELEGRAMS, a full service singing telegram business, where he travels the East Coast delivering messages through song for his clients and their loved ones.
