Episode 87 - Devin Velez
Chicago native, Devin Velez has done everything from lead worship music at church, to being in the Chicago Children’s Choir and even landing 8th place on Season 12 of American Idol. Devin only wants to sing and has been making it his passion since he could talk.
Growing up with the unwavering support from his mother, made his journey very fulfilling; Devin never had to prove himself to his family because they were already his biggest supporters.
Fast forward to present day, Devin has released 5 original projects, multiple covers and collaboration videos on YouTube, has traveled the world doing what he loves and singing every single weekend in his beloved Chicago. There’s no sign of stopping and he says “I’m not good at anything else”, so we can’t wait to see what’s next!
