Episode 99 - Olivia Ximines

Olivia Ximines is an ambitious, determined, and passionate young artist that has accomplished wonderful things in her 18 years of life. Olivia grew up in an all Jamaican, Christian, and musical household. She started singing at the age of 3 and continued singing at various places like church, her living room, and even stores.
 
She enrolled in a performing arts school for her middle school years, where she gained professional training that allowed her to find her true passion for singing and dancing. During her first year of high school, she 
joined the Varsity Dance Team and started taking private vocal lessons. By combining these arts, She gained confidence in her performance skills while performing at various events and being an MC for multiple conferences.
 
Olivia is most known for her time on American Idol, where she successfully made it in the Top 20. Her most notable performance showcased her singing and dancing during the Top 40 round in Hawaii. She sang the iconic “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner and left people in awe. A year later, she rejoined the hit show for a comeback episode and performed her heart out to “Say Yes” by Michelle Williams ft. Beyonce and Kelly Rowland.
 
During her time on Idol, Olivia managed to maintain a 4.1 GPA which landed her the Valedictorian award. While loving the arts, Olivia has also always been into academics. She graduated high school with multiple awards and even got to sing the National Anthem for her school. Olivia will be attending her dream school in the fall, Howard University, where she will study Health Management in hopes of becoming a Pediatrician. She still wants to continue her music career in light of her studies and hopes to release music soon.
